Summer Camp 2022

A big thank you to those that attended and to those who organised this year’s summer camp at Clennel Hall, Northumberland.

Let’s start with the unfortunate water event that was out of Clennel Hall’s control, the water being cut off because the timer wasn’t reset and the farmer who own’s/ controls the supply had left for the weekend.

The hotel had to close on the Sunday due to this unforeseen event. This indeed cut short the last day for many however, a few stayed behind and enjoyed the last night even without the BBQ. Thanks go to Fiona and Cat , for performing a T birds Grease lighting, wording changing performance, with audience participation.

A very big thank you for the catering on the Friday night to Hugh Jim West, excellent curry indeed.

Thank you to Richard and James for leading/ tail end Charlie the rides on both days.

Thank you to the Lou Ross band for another great performance on the Saturday evening.

Awards won at camp, Dave Harding most improved member, Chairman’s awards – James Lynch, Iain Inglis best bike, Triumph Newcastle gift won by Vic Stephenson and craziest dancer to Keith! sorry Babs, well done all.

It was great to see other branch members attending, even Paul from the Glasgow branch.
